The tragic outcome came after several weeks of medical treatment and struggles to save his life . However, in the last 24 hours, the politician's condition took a turn for the worse, with internal bleeding leading to his death.

Following the publication of the official statement about his death, the first reactions began to appear from Turbay's immediate surroundings , and of course, his sister María Carolina Hoyos was one of the first to write on social media.

Hoyos's emotional and painful farewell highlights how Turbay's story was marked by the Colombian conflict, initially with the murder of his mother, and now, history is repeating itself.

“Miguel Guerrero, this was God's will. I can't explain it, but I have no choice but to accept this new pain with faith. I'm sure our mother, who loves you so much, welcomes you today with open arms . Mommy... our grandmother, our lifelong mother, is also waiting for you with infinite tenderness,” Hoyos wrote.

Along the same lines, he also thanked everyone who contributed to the medical process, trying to save his brother's life. "Thank you to all the doctors and nurses. Thank you to those who prayed with faith, to those who stood by us with solidarity and love. Thank you to our family for staying united in the midst of pain ."
